Do you enjoy good food and great people? We have a lead bake position opening up at Rise and Shine Cafe & Bakery.
We are looking for someone who is wanting to grow with our brand and who is passionate about fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
We currently have a hard-working staff who enjoy each other, our customers, and the food we serve. We are well-known in the area for having an excellent staff and positive work environment, not to mention well-loved food and creative homemade bakery items that we are proud to send out to customers. This is a fast-paced position with constant activity, so the day flies by.
About the Lead Baking Position:
The baker reads and understands Rise & Shine recipes, performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products, takes care in item presentation, cleans workstations and equipment, makes sure the bake area is stocked, keeps track of inventory, and answers questions and completes orders from customers.
Days & Hours: full time
Pay: $22hr /DOE/ plus tips
To qualify for a position at Rise and Shine, you must be a person who:
- Is a self motivated morning person
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Has time management and multitasking skills
- Is passionate about baking
- Has a heart for hospitality
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with others
- Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift and move 30+ pounds
- Experience appreciated, but not necessary
