Distribution Operations Manager
What You’ll be Trusted to Deliver:
- Manages team performance through performance planning, coaching, appraisal and disciplinary efforts
- Communicates and keeps direct reports well informed and aligned to Company and DC’s values, goals, results, initiatives, policies, procedures etc.
- Ensures associate schedule meets the demand of inbound/outbound volume
- Responsible for assisting in hiring, training, and developing of all new and existing associates
- Work with all applicable departments to ensure efficient and accurate flow of inventory in and out of distribution center shipping departments
- Hold departmental meetings as expected
- Help support, communicate, and administer disciplinary action to associates who violate company policy.
- Communicate with appropriate individuals/departments during the shift that may affect other warehouse departments.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High School Education or equivalent
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 7-10 years of experience within the Distribution and Transportation industry
- 4-6 years in a Leadership role
Knowledge:
- Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable
- Seasoned knowledge of distribution shipping practices
Skills:
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, and implementing solutions
- Possess the ability to influence and support teams, while building relationships
Abilities:
- Ability to supervise or manage multiple tasks and shift priorities in fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate and complete required record keeping functions
- Ability to articulate and align associates with department and business goals
- Must be able to work the needed schedule to perform assigned duties
- Ability to work in a –5 degree to 90+ degree Fahrenheit environment (temperature varies within each department) for long periods of time
- Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
