Overview
Toneman Development Corporation is a commercial/industrial general contractor company based in Lancaster, CA. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and clients, while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily on-site operations, ensuring projects progress according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide on-site activities.
- Manage project schedules using ProCore and WorkMax similar construction management software; update timelines regularly.
- Monitor construction quality control processes to meet specifications and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety logs.
- Review contracts, change orders, and budgets to ensure project scope aligns with financial parameters.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore and other construction management software for seamless communication and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections using equipment like ohmmeters for electrical testing; ensure adherence to schematics and technical standards.
- Supervise onsite personnel, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management with a proven track record supervising commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Excellent project scheduling capabilities with experience managing pipelines of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership, conflict resolution, and fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
- Familiarity with contracts management processes including review and compliance oversight.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
