At Thrive Pediatric Behavioral Health, we believe every child deserves an accurate diagnosis, compassionate care, and access to high-quality intervention as early as possible. We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing multidisciplinary team to conduct autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.

About the Role
This position focuses on conducting comprehensive autism evaluations for children referred due to concerns regarding social communication, developmental delays, restricted interests, and repetitive behaviors.
Evaluations may be completed in our welcoming clinic environment with flexible scheduling available.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnostic evaluations using DSM-5-TR criteria.
- Complete caregiver interviews and developmental history reviews.
- Perform direct behavioral observations.
- Administer and interpret appropriate assessment measures.
- Integrate clinical findings into comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Differentiate ASD from other developmental and behavioral disorders.
- Provide clear diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
- Complete insurance-friendly documentation that supports medical necessity for ABA services.
- Provide written orders for ABA services when clinically indicated.
- Maintain documentation in accordance with HIPAA, Medicaid, and insurance requirements.
Assessment Tools May Include
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred but not required:
- ADOS-2
- CARS-2
- Clinical Interviews
- Other standardized developmental and autism assessment measures
QualificationsRequired
- Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology
- Active Pennsylvania Psychologist License
- Experience working with children and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred but not Required
- Experience diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Knowledge of insurance documentation requirements
- Experience writing comprehensive psychological reports
- Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation
- ADOS-2 training (not required)

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
