Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain floor care by applying appropriate techniques for carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep floors pristine
- Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally during visits
- Manage janitorial tasks including waste removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in top condition
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, supporting scheduling and quality control for larger teams
Requirements
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure safe and hygienic environments
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and reaching high surfaces
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Basic familiarity with laundry processes and custodial responsibilities
- Certification or experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeper management is a plus
