Duties
- Provide individualized therapy tailored to each child and family's unique needs, incorporating early intervention best practices.
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication skills, and feeding behaviors when necessary.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on strategies to support their child's development at home and in everyday routines.
- Monitor progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of developmental milestones.
- Document therapy sessions, assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately in compliance with agency standards.
- Stay current with the latest research in pediatrics, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform effective intervention strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in pediatric environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques specific to early childhood development and pediatrics.
- Excellent ability to build rapport with children and their families effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
- A passion for early intervention services that promote positive developmental outcomes for children during critical stages
Pay: $75.00 - $92.00 per hour
