Join our team at Devils Backbone - Basecamp as a Part-Time Bartender, where you'll create memorable guest experiences through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. Primarily based in our Shanty Bar, you'll work in a unique, laid-back setting known for its signature cocktails, distinctive cigar program, and vibrant hospitality. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll engage with a diverse range of guests, contribute to an energetic environment, and help ensure every visit embodies the Devils Backbone experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, creating a positive and lively atmosphere.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed to maintain smooth service flow.
- Handle POS transactions using Toast, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage setup and breakdown of bar stations during shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous cocktail bartending experience.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Understanding of cigars and high end spirits
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; certifications such as TIPS or ServSafe are a plus.
