Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects on-site. This role is vital in ensuring that all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Concrete Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering teamwork and maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage concrete crews, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical schematics to guide onsite activities.
- Oversee the preparation of formwork, reinforcement placement, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete according to industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and enforcing safety protocols.
- Review contracts, manage budgets, and oversee quality control measures to meet project requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials like rebar, formwork, and concrete mixes while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct regular construction site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, resource planning, and technical problem-solving related to concrete work.
- Lead team meetings to communicate daily objectives, safety updates, and project milestones effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience managing heavy civil or commercial concrete projects with a strong background in construction management roles.
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to concrete operations.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Experience supervising teams in fast-paced construction environments with a focus on crew management and safety oversight.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in accordance with construction regulations.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
