Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues using technical manuals, and diagnostic tools identify to provide service and repairs.
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, fans, valves, motors, pumps, and electrical wiring to restore system functionality efficiently.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems to ensure proper water flow and drainage.
- Install new equipment or upgrade existing systems in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, refrigeration systems, and general equipment repair.
- Field service experience with a focus on air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and other mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to work effectively in team environments or independently.
- Certifications in HVAC/R technology preferred.
Pay: $30.00 - $65.00 per hour
