Elkamet, a plastic's manufacturer in East Flat Rock, NC – specializes in plastic extrusions and rotational molding for automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, building- and agricultural machines. We were founded in 2006 from our parent company in Germany.
Products:
Extruded windshield profiles used by all major US car manufacturers. Unique Nylon Tanks used for hydraulic oil and gas containers for building construction machines. Diesel Tanks made of Polyethylene for building machines and agricultural machines.
STARTING PAY from $20.50 to $23.00 AN HOUR PLUS BONUSES & $1.00 3rd shift premium.
· Must possess strong mechanical skills and understanding of complex machinery.
· Very good problem-solving skills.
· Must be efficient at multi-tasking and able to prioritize ever changing needs.
· Some experience in plastic extruding desired but not necessary.
· Must work in a team oriented and dedicated environment.
· Able to read precise measuring equipment.
· Be able to perform all set up and verification of the extruding lines.
· Must keep precise records of checks and information.
· Continuously monitor process on lines and be able to recognize issues and react accordingly to assure quality of parts.
· Must have good communication skills to be able to work with teammates and to be able to report problems or concerns in a legible manner.
