Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble pizza orders according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Cook pizzas and other menu items using proper techniques and equipment, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including food handling stations and storage spaces
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet health standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ingredients or toppings based on customer preferences and trends
- Support catering events or special orders by preparing larger quantities of food efficiently
- Serve customers directly when needed, providing friendly and prompt service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations is advantageous
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food industry best practices for hygiene and safety
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness
