Branch Manager

Davis Water Service is seeking a self-motivated, mechanically inclined Branch Manager to lead our Georgia location. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can identify issues quickly, solve problems effectively, and take ownership of branch performance.
We are looking for a leader who doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be fixed — they see it, address it, and move forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable while fostering a positive work environment
- Identify operational issues and implement practical, timely solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standards
- Step in to drive and support deliveries when needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and travel out of town as required
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes, equipment reliability, and overall branch performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management experience (required)
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude — ability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Transportation and logistics knowledge preferred
- MUST live within 30-40 miles from location
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical labor including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing tanker ladders
This role is ideal for a working leader who leads from the front, takes ownership, and understands both operations and people management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
