About the Role
A warm, established Westchester family is welcoming their first child, a lively 3.5-month-old girl, and is looking for an experienced, long-term infant nanny. The role starts part-time (~20 hrs/week) while the mother is on maternity leave, then transitions to full-time by late October once she returns to work. The family values genuine developmental knowledge, patience, and a naturally organized, self-sufficient caregiver who can work comfortably alongside a parent who works from home part of the week.
What You Will Do
- Full daily infant care: feeding, soothing, naps, diapering
- Age-appropriate developmental engagement, classes, and activities as the baby grows
- Light laundry (baby's laundry)
- Light dog care: bathroom breaks, walks with stroller, occasional feeding
- Maintain existing household organization systems (bins, labels, order) independently
- Family-assistant tasks (grocery runs, errands) as hours allow during the transition period
