Prince George company is seeking an experienced press operator to run our strip label finisher/rewinder. Must be familiar with printing press operation, preferably adhesive label production. Operator performs routine maintenance and helps diagnose issues related to switches, sensors, fuses, filters, etc. Ours is a small, employee-friendly company that requires everyone to pitch in and wear many hats, potentially including fulfillment in our warehouse, unloading trucks, etc. This role is physically demanding, involving standing for long periods and routinely lifting 20 pound boxes and sometimes up to 40 pound cartons. Ideal candidate will have interest in being cross-trained for digital press operation. Ability to pay close attention to detail, communicate and pitch in wherever necessary are very important. This is currently a 6:30a-5:00p Mon-Thur position with some flexibility for change. Please only apply if you have experience working with a manufacturing press and have an outstanding work ethic. This job is hands-on and requires effort and focus.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Experience with printing equipment or finishing presses.
