We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Team Member to aid our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean and orderly environment for Fashion Square Mall. The ideal candidate will have experience in various cleaning environments such as hotels, hospitals, or industrial settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Taking pride in your work to provide shoppers with a clean and fresh shopping experience.
- Ensure our mall is clean at all times and stocked with needed sanitary supplies for guests.
- Respond to active spills or hazardous situations that could cause negative experiences for guests.
- Handle customer complaints and special requests
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the cleaning of a large structure such as a hospital, mall or office building.
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment, such as mopping or operation of a floor scrubbing machine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs.
- Ability to use tools such as mops, brooms, and strenuous cleaning equipment for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 to 35 lbs
