Representing QA in senior stakeholder meetings (Director and above) for the purposes of defect triage, concessioning of defects into the live environment and defect reporting throughout the SDLC.
You will provide regular detailed trend analysis of defects raised during the life cycle of the development, to enable focus to be directed at problematic areas with the view to reducing defects within these areas, chairing and managing all defect triage and defect management calls. Responsibility for the administration and management of JIRA and qTest with our clients.

Demonstrable experience of running a Defect Management Function

JIRA / qTest management experience

Proven experience of devising, implementing and assuring Defect Management strategies at Project level.

Experience of collaborative working with experts in functional, non-functional and test automation disciplines.

Broad stakeholder management experience including external clients and Director level interactions across a range of Business and IT functions.

Managing, operating and delivering Quality Assurance across the full SDLC.

Manage issue tracking and coordinate remediation of issues with development team.

Establish defect resolution metrics that quantify progress while highlighting potential areas for improvement.

Manage the prioritization of defects and queue workload for defect teams including identification of resource constraints.

Facilitate recurring conference calls to report the issues with the respective application managers and the client.

An intense drive to learn and apply new concepts, proven through a record of self-teaching and learning through doing.

Strong organizational skills are required.
