**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation of goods for your clients. If you have a strong background in transportation management and enjoy building relationships with customers, we want to hear from you.
**Duties:**
- Utilize transportation management software to track shipments and manage logistics
- Build your own book of business
- Negotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
- Coordinate freight movement from origin to destination efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to optimize transportation services
**Qualifications:**
- Proficiency in transportation planning and supply chain management
- Experience in transportation sales, account management, and customer relationship management
- Knowledge of industry software for freight tracking and logistics management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
