Position Title: Front of House (FOH) Restaurant Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead daily dining room operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, with a strong focus on front-of-house operations, team leadership, scheduling, and hospitality systems management.
This position is responsible for overseeing servers and host staff, optimizing service standards, coordinating schedules, managing restaurant systems, and ensuring guests receive outstanding service every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operations of the restaurant.
- Lead, coach, and supervise servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff.
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front-of-house team members.
- Maintain exceptional guest service standards and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Monitor labor costs and staffing efficiencies.
- Oversee restaurant POS systems, reservations platforms, and other operational systems.
- Coordinate with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service and communication.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and maintain consistent service procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing restaurant front-of-house operations.
- Proven experience managing and developing service teams.
- Strong scheduling and workforce management experience.
- Knowledge of POS systems, reservations software, and restaurant management technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High-energy, hands-on management style with a passion for hospitality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in full-service dining environments, minimum five years.
- Food Handler's Permit and MAST certification (if required by state/local regulations).
- Experience with inventory management, supervisor of front of the hours
- Procedure implementation and oversight
