Job Overview
Blake's Garage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to service automotive vehicles and light-to-medium-duty trucks. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, a thorough working knowledge of vehicle systems, and a complete set of personal tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on:
- Suspension and steering systems
- Brakes
- Electrical systems
- Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Engine performance and drivability issues
- Provide standard maintenance services, including oil changes, for automotive and light-to-medium-duty trucks.
- Perform light metal/parts fabrication as needed.
- Safely operate shop-owned specialty equipment, including shop presses, pullers, diagnostic scan tools, and related machinery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of automotive repair experience.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Tools: Must own a personal tool set suitable for general automotive repair.
