Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and physical development.
- Deliver dynamic lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of children.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and inclusive environment conducive to learning.
- Assist in behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Follow mandated reporting laws and procedures to ensure child safety and welfare are prioritized at all times.
- Support children with special education needs through tailored instructional strategies and interventions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, child development instruction, and classroom best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or toddler care environments.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, early intervention techniques, and childhood development principles.
- Familiarity with classroom management tools, behavior management strategies, and standardized testing processes.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to ensure safety during all activities.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education, and overall child welfare.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in private school settings is a plus.
