Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Closer/Funder to join our dynamic financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for finalizing mortgage transactions by ensuring all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth loan funding processes, uphold mortgage servicing standards, and deliver exceptional customer service to clients. Responsibilities
- Review and verify all loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, and clients to ensure timely loan closing and funding processes
- Conduct thorough credit analysis and review of borrower financials to confirm eligibility and compliance with lending standards
- Maintain clear internal communication throughout the process while managing loan documentation meticulously to meet all regulatory requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in loan processing or mortgage closing/funding within the financial services industry
- Familiarity with credit analysis, underwriting procedures, and mortgage documentation standards
- Excellent understanding of banking regulatory compliance related to lending practices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners
