Immediate Hiring for Certified Pharmacy/Typing Technician (CPhT)
Trinity Apothecary is a Long Term Care Pharmacy (closed pharmacy) with over 28 years of experience and leadership in servicing Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), group homes and rehabs across Texas. We are seeking a dedicated, self-driven and friendly Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with data entry and phone customer care experience to join our close knit team of pharmacists and technicians. In addition, the candidate must be excited about learning multiple areas/aspects of our pharmacy and be able to operate at high levels of competency and speed in all these areas daily.
Position is Full Time. Hours: Monday-Friday 9AM to 6PM
Responsibilities include:
- Data entry, insurance adjudication, prior authorizations
- Provide excellent customer care on phone
- Attention to detail and Problem solving skills are a must!
- Learn/Understand different community/facility needs and tailor care accordingly
- Support whole pharmacy operations and help out in any area(s) needed which includes (but is not limited to): packing, stocking, inventory work, billing, A/R, vaccinations, off site visits/med cart audits and other off site duties.
- Other duties as assigned by Pharmacy Director
Qualifications required:
- CPhT + Texas License in good standing
- Requires 1+ years retail pharmacy experience (including data entry and phone customer service experience)
- Ability to work in a high volume, high pressure environment
- Able to be a team player and has pleasant personality
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive to other locations as assigned by Pharmacy Director
- Must be able to pass criminal and background checks
