Mass Grading Foreman – 30–90 Day Project
We are hiring experienced Foremen for a 30–90 day mass grading project.
This is a large-scale earthwork and mass excavation project. We are specifically looking for foremen with experience running dirt crews and keeping heavy equipment production moving.
Temporary positions with temp-to-hire opportunities available for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Lead operators and laborers performing mass grading and earthwork
- Coordinate daily work with the superintendent
- Manage cut/fill operations, material placement, haul routes, and grading
- Coordinate dozers, excavators, motor graders, ADTs, and support equipment
- Track crew hours, equipment hours, production, and completed quantities
- Work from plans, grades, stakes, and GPS models
- Monitor production and identify issues affecting cycle times or output
- Maintain daily field notes and communicate equipment, trucking, and manpower needs
- Keep crews safe, productive, and organized
Qualifications
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience in mass grading, mass excavation, or heavy earthwork
- Strong understanding of dirt work, grading, compaction, and equipment operations
- GPS/machine-control experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to read civil plans and understand grades and quantities
- Experience managing operators and heavy equipment crews
- Dependable, organized, and able to communicate clearly
- Strong work ethic and good attitude
Pay will be based on experience, ability, work ethic, and attitude.
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
