Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to support infrastructure projects, site development, and building activities. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks with precision and safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow all occupational safety regulations and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during operations.
- Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, material hauling, and site cleanup using appropriate machinery.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, repairs, and operational reports as required.
- Support the setup and operation of specialized machinery like concrete mixers and cranes for specific project needs.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy machinery operation in diverse environments.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience operating large vehicles such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks.
- Hands-on experience operating construction equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and water trucks.
- Familiarity with safety regulations governing heavy equipment operation and occupational safety standards.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery like Caterpillar equipment or similar brands.
- Knowledge of construction site protocols including PPE use and hazard awareness.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety.

Pay: $28.71 - $34.57 per hour
