Position: Product Sampling Specialist (Part-Time)
Schedule: EVERY Saturdays & Sundays | 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary
Livoti’s Old World Market is seeking an energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Product Sampling Specialist to create an exceptional shopping experience by introducing customers to our premium products through in-store demonstrations and sampling. This role is responsible for engaging guests, sharing product knowledge, encouraging sales, and representing the Livoti’s brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, present, and distribute food samples in a clean, safe, and inviting manner.
- Engage customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Educate customers about featured products, ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Answer customer questions confidently and accurately.
- Encourage product purchases by highlighting quality, value, and unique features.
- Maintain an attractive, organized, and fully stocked sampling station.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Monitor sample inventory and notify management when additional product is needed.
- Keep work areas clean before, during, and after each shift.
- Provide outstanding customer service while creating a memorable shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with department managers and store associates to promote featured products.
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to engage customers of all ages.
- Passion for food and willingness to learn about Livoti’s products.
- Ability to explain products clearly and confidently.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, retail, or product demonstrations is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
