Restaurant Assistant General Manager Job – Arvada, CO
Smokin Fins is a full-service restaurant in Arvada, Colorado, known for bold flavors, high-volume service, and exceptional hospitality. We are part of the Out to Lunch Restaurant Group, a growing restaurant group with multiple locations and strong career advancement opportunities.
We are hiring an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support restaurant operations, lead teams, and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including shift management and floor leadership
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop restaurant staff
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns
- Assist with labor scheduling, payroll accuracy, and cost control
- Maintain food safety, health department, and sanitation standards
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and waste control
- Support bar operations and POS systems (Toast preferred)
Assistant General Manager Requirements
- 1–3 years of restaurant management experience (full-service required)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Experience with labor management, scheduling, and restaurant KPIs
- POS system experience (Toast preferred)
- Bar management experience preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe Manager Certification and TIPS Certification required
- Authorized to work in the United States
