We are seeking an energetic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. A flexible schedule is needed. Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among preschool children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and structured learning.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and developmental progress.
- Promote positive behavior management strategies to foster respectful interactions and social-emotional growth among students.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or early intervention is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, literacy education methods, Montessori or other educational philosophies preferred.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
