Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Engage with guests to take orders, answer questions, and suggest menu items through effective upselling techniques
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, handling food safely, and managing waste properly
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling with accuracy
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and food prep tools to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Deliver excellent customer service by serving guests promptly, managing food service orders efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Retail sales experience or experience working in a café or fast-food setting is advantageous but not mandatory
