Churchill Retirement Community is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our skilled facilities team. We’re looking for a dependable professional with a strong background in building maintenance, HVAC repair, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep.
This role also includes occasional transportation support for residents, including scheduled appointments and community-related outings. We’re seeking someone who is professional, safety-minded, and comfortable interacting with seniors in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of building maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, and masonry.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks to keep systems in peak condition.
- Assist the Maintenance Director with facility inspections, renovations, and upgrades.
- Maintain clean, safe, and functional workspaces throughout the community.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Occasionally assist housekeeping with heavy moves or deep-cleaning projects.
- Provide occasional transportation support for residents using community vehicles for appointments, errands, or scheduled outings.
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service when interacting with residents and families.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential, commercial, senior living, or healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair building systems efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Comfortable safely transporting residents and operating company vehicles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
