Job Description: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Shift: 4 PM - 2 AM, Monday - Thursday, with overtime as needed on Fridays

Overview
As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician at GB Food Inc., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing production equipment to support our operational goals. You will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to excellence and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Extensive experience with 480v electrical systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, conveyor systems, and industrial machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, forklift operation) are a plus.
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Availability: Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as needed.
