BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR
Complex Fabricators is a fast-paced manufacturing company that produces parts for a variety of markets, including aerospace customers. We are in a phase of growth and are looking for a ROCKSTAR Brake Press Operator to join our team. A Brake Press Operator performs tasks that are necessary to the production process. Brake Press Operators must have an aptitude for mechanics, an eye for detail, and an understanding of tooling. He or she must also understand the importance of good craftsmanship. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions to meet all safety and quality requirements. Aerospace Assembly or Laser machine operation proficiency would be a bonus.
Brake Press Operator Responsibilities:
- Produce parts, components, or assemblies by bending parts on brake presses
- Ensure working environment is clean and safe
- Listen to and follow directions from supervisors
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches
- Verify specifications
- Complete all quality documentation
- Help resolve production issues with others
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Report errors
- Forward orders for supplies
Brake Press Operator Skills and Qualifications:
- Safety-minded; focus on quality; manufacturing experience with brake presses; attention to detail; good judgment and decision-making skills; use mechanical inspection tools, hand tools, and power tools; mechanically inclined
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent hand-eye coordination or manual dexterity
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
