Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring the warehouse operation maintains accurate inventory levels for availability and readiness. This position ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory to guarantee continued operations and avoid shortages. Additionally, this role collects volume metrics, disposes of obsolete products, manages returns, and reallocates inventory as needed. In addition, this position audits inventory regularly and provides reports to management. This role coordinates with buyers to keep up-to-date status of shipments and tracking information. Responsibilities for this role include day-to-day cycle counting, reporting, item attributes, and maintaining millions of dollars of inventory with high accuracy.

Manages all inventory functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, compliance, profitability, proper material handling, and minimal damage.

Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) data to ensure efficient and proper inventory control.

Researches and identifies quality control issues to minimize recurrence, ensure regulatory compliance, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collects and maintains product volumetric and item attributes.

Provides analysis and resolutions to management regarding inventory discrepancies or processes.

Performs system adjustments as required and analyzes for root cause.

Maintains accurate records of all audits, counts, adjustments, and analysis. Executes reverse logistics for customer returns, ensuring proper and timely execution, including exception management.

Reviews inbound and outbound exceptions and initiates corrective action, ensuring proper and timely execution.

Provides timely and accurate responses to internal and external teams regarding required counts, balance on-hand, and analysis.

Manages system requirements and control desk functions, resolves variances, and performs final reconciliation requirements.

Conducts cycle counting procedures and works directly with warehouse personnel to uncover variances in actual inventory on hand versus reported inventory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong math skills and Microsoft Excel abilities [Required]

Good attention to multiple and complex details [Required]

Ability to learn and operate Warehouse Management System (WMS) technologies [Required]

Ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) [Required]

General computer skills and ability to work with the latest technologies which includes paperless processes for picking/pulling/staging and cross-docking orders and/or receipts [Required]

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities [Required]

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions [Required]
Education:

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
Work Experience:
-
2+ of experience in inventory control or related field [Required]

Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience- Reach Truck, Order Picker, Powered Pallet-jack, Forklift [Preferred]

Prior experience working in a production/goal-oriented environment [Preferred]

Prior experience working in distribution a plus [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$17.63 - $28.20
