Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum TIG and MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding aluminum components with precision and consistency, contributing to the production of safe and durable access systems. All welding is done in a fixture.
We operate in a fast-paced production environment using a Kanban system to manage workflow efficiently. Team members are expected to maintain a steady pace, meet daily production goals, and deliver consistent quality. Attention to timing and teamwork is key to keeping the flow of work moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds on aluminum parts and assemblies
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and structural integrity
- Grind, polish, or clean welds as needed to meet finished specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with Co-workers to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding (aluminum TIG experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with grinders, saws, power tools and other fabrication tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions
- Welding certification is a plus but not required
