Position Overview:
As a Runner/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations in our front-of-house area. Reporting directly to the FOH Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with food and drink delivery to tables, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Table Setup and Maintenance:
-Assist with setting up tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments before service.
-Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished their meals.
-Reset tables efficiently for incoming guests, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.
2. Food and Drink Delivery:
-Assist servers and bartenders in delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner.
-Ensure accurate delivery of orders and promptly address any discrepancies or special requests.
3. Guest Assistance:
-Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, assisting with any additional requests or inquiries.
-Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless order delivery and guest satisfaction.
4. Cleaning and Sanitation:
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including floors, chairs, and surfaces.
-Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
5. Collaboration with Restaurant Manager:
-Report any issues or concerns regarding guest satisfaction, cleanliness, or safety to the Restaurant Manager.
-Work collaboratively with other front-of-house and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Runner, Busser, or similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred.
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
-Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
