Join our dynamic team as a Wholesale Order Processing Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our customers and contractors receive exceptional service. In this fast-paced office position, you will be responsible for accurately processing wholesale orders, coordinating with sales representatives, vendors, and warehouse teams, and ensuring orders move efficiently through the fulfillment process. Responsibilities
- Process wholesale customer orders accurately and efficiently within the company's ERP system.
- Verify order details, pricing, stock availability, customer terms, and shipping requirements before order release.
- Create warehouse shipments and purchase orders as necessary to facilitate order fulfillment.
- Process customer payments and ensure orders meet all financial and credit requirements prior to fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate customer records, account information, and order documentation.
- Communicate regularly with sales representatives, vendors, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing.
- Monitor inventory availability and proactively communicate stock shortages, backorders, and lead time concerns.
- Follow up on orders awaiting payment, inventory replenishment, vendor confirmation, or other outstanding requirements to ensure timely resolution.
- Manage and respond to a shared team inbox, prioritizing customer and internal inquiries appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure departmental goals and service levels are met.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Assist with additional operational tasks and support other business divisions, including e-commerce order processing, during periods of lower wholesale volume or as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in order processing, customer service, administrative support, sales support, or a related operational role.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate multiple software systems efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
