Schedule Details/Additional Information:
- Full-time
- Evening shift: 3pm to 11:30 pm
- Rotating weekends and holidays
How You’ll Contribute:
- Lead daily EVS operations by coordinating assignments, staffing plans, schedules, and departmental priorities.
- Oversee staff performance by verifying task completion, adjusting daily coverage, and communicating performance or conduct concerns to leadership.
- Serve as a working lead by supporting hazardous material response, bed tracking, room inspections, project coordination, and departmental operations.
- Act as a liaison between EVS, patients, and hospital staff to resolve issues, coordinate services, and maintain effective communication.
- Assist with onboarding, training, competency validation, and orientation of new team members, including introducing new equipment and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and inspection of EVS equipment and supplies to support safe and efficient operations.
- Promote exceptional customer service by utilizing AIDET, maintaining confidentiality, resolving concerns professionally, and fostering positive interactions with patients, families, and staff.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience preferred
- 3 years experience with at least one in Housekeeping
