In this active, high-responsibility role, you will command a 2-ton flatbed truck to transport heavy structural steel, custom metal assemblies, and sheet fabrications cleanly between regional shops, industrial partners, and client job sites. Safely operate a 2-ton flatbed truck to transport, transfer, and deliver heavy structural steel and custom metal fabrication products across regional routes.

Properly bind, strap, chain, and secure heavy steel cargo and oversized metal assemblies to ensure 100% transit safety and zero product damage.

Assist shop and yard crews with loading and unloading freight using forklifts, overhead cranes, or rigging equipment.

Perform meticulous pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections, maintaining clean equipment logs and a pristine delivery rig.

Verify shipping tickets, order manifests, and delivery receipts for 100% piece-count accuracy upon arrival at client sites.

Represent the company with high professionalism, courteous customer communication, and a zero-shortcut safety mindset.
Pay Rate: $23.00 / hour starting base wage.-
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Consistent daytime routine with occasional overtime available!).

Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term trade stability.

Valid driver's license with a clean, safe driving record (DOT Medical Card preferred or ability to obtain).

Verifiable experience safely driving 2-ton flatbed trucks, medium-duty flatbeds, or commercial transport vehicles.

Proven knowledge and hands-on capability in heavy load securement (ratchet straps, chains, binders, and tarping).

Forklift operating experience and familiarity with structural steel or heavy material handling required.

Physical capability to perform active yard labor, throw straps/chains, bend, stoop, and lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
