Financial & Business Analysts (Multiple Openings)

A leading New York organization is seeking several analytical professionals to join its growing finance and business operations teams.
Whether your background is in financial analysis, project controls, cost accounting, portfolio management, forecasting, or operational analytics, we are looking for professionals who enjoy working with data, solving complex business problems, and helping leadership make informed decisions.
What You'll Do
Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Analyze financial, operational, and business performance data to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level presentations.
- Perform budget tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reconciliations.
- Support portfolio, project, and cost management activities.
- Assist with billing, invoice processing, purchase order reviews, and accrual reporting.
- Monitor project financial performance and recommend improvements.
- Prepare business cases and financial analyses for key initiatives.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through detailed data analysis.
- Develop forecasts using historical and market data.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, and Business Leadership.
- Ensure compliance with established financial controls, governance standards, and reporting requirements.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Technical Skills
Experience with several of the following is highly desirable:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
- Power BI
- SAP
- SharePoint
- Primavera
- Procore
- Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–10 years of relevant professional experience, depending on the specific opportunity.
- Experience supporting large organizations, infrastructure projects, utilities, engineering, construction, or corporate finance environments is a plus.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite in White Plains, NY.
- Candidates should reside within the Tri-State area.
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule.
- Initial 12-month consulting assignment with the potential for extension based on business needs.
