The Aprile Line Cook’s overall function is assisting the Lead Line Cook with their daily tasks: food preparing, cooking and setting up supply stations - all key components of the Kitchen’s success ensuring Guest satisfaction at Aprile!
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Proven cooking experience including positions of Restaurant Line or Prep Cook.
Two or more years restaurant experience preferred.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
