Resident Care Assistant - RCA
Villa St. Francis Assisted Living was founded in Milwaukee in 1990 by the Felician Sisters, a religious order established in Warsaw, Poland in 1855 to meet the needs of the poor, the orphaned, the sick and the elderly. We are seeking to hire a Resident Care Assistant – RCA - Part-Time.
- $21 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Part-Time schedule.
Resident Care Assistant – RCA Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be CBRF certified.
Resident Care Assistant – RCA Job Summary:
- Answer resident call bells.
- Visit with residents (i.e.: Read their mail, newspapers or books to them, help to write letters, make telephone calls etc.)
- Pass, set up and collect trays for independent residents.
- Make assigned residents bed and work in a team effort to make sure all beds on unit are made.
- Organize and straighten and clean closets and dressers.
- Transport residents to meals and other events.
- Report resident’s intake to Team Leader and encourage residents to drink more fluids.
- Check fall precautions: bed monitor, mats, and bed rails.
- Check and clean wheelchairs as needed.
