JOB The Manatee Clerk’s Child Support Program provides comprehensive case management including; locating parents responsible for the support of a child, establishing paternity, obtaining, enforcing and modifying child support orders. This position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external partners of the Clerk’s Office. The Clerk I/CSP safeguards confidential information and accurately and effectively performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Including utilizing the Child Support Management system to work assigned tasks related to Child Support Program services. The Clerk I/CSP position is a full-time, non-supervisory position reporting to the team Supervisor. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- High School diploma or GED

One year of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data, preferably in an automated systems environment

Basic mathematical aptitude, as well as alpha and numeric filing skills are required

Computer literacy which includes, but is not limited to, proficiency in Microsoft Windows suite

Provides excellent customer service to all in person, in email and over the phone; is approachable, helpful and personable; and answers questions knowledgeably and with patience

Greeting customers upon arrival and accurately checking them in to be seen by a case manager

Performs general clerical and receptionist duties for the CSP

Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive data as required in DOR and Clerk’s policy and procedures

Maintains a complete and accurate record, using the Child Support case management system and established division procedures

Accurately completes CAMS tasks and non-task related duties as assigned within specified time frames

Accurately completes system scanning and post scanning review as assigned for the Child Support case management system
-
Accurately completes weekly communications with DOR Employer Services to request employment records be added to the CAMS system

Accurately E-File Interstate Petitions

Facilitate Telephonic hearings as needed

Update demographic information post hearing from Memorandum to the Clerk

Timely completion of daily rounds

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
