Noland, Hamerly, Etienne & Hoss, one of Monterey County’s most established and respected AV-rated law firms, is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney (5+ years) to join its growing practice.
This is a rare opportunity to step into an active, high-demand trusts and estates practice with immediate client responsibility, particularly in our Salinas office, where demand significantly exceeds current capacity.

About the Practice
Our trusts and estates group handles a full range of matters, including:
· Estate planning (revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, advanced planning strategies)
· Trust and estate administration
· Probate proceedings
· Related trust and estate litigation
You will be joining a collaborative team of experienced T&E attorneys with strong referral pipelines and consistent workflow.This is a hands-on, client-facing role with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities include:
· Drafting and implementing comprehensive estate plans
· Managing trust and estate administrations from start to finish
· Handling probate matters
· Advising clients on tax, wealth transfer, and fiduciary issues
· Direct client interaction and relationship management
· Collaborating with partners, attorneys, and support staff across offices
· Participating in business development and community engagement

Qualifications
· Juris Doctor
· 5+ years of trusts and estates experience required
· Demonstrated ability to independently manage matters and client relationships
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
· Work Location & Flexibility
· Primary location: Salinas, CA (required)
· Some flexibility for remote work and/or time in the Monterey office, depending on practice needs

Pay: $120,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
