What You'll Be Doing
- Answering phones and greeting visitors with a professional, friendly attitude
- Processing customer orders accurately and on time
- Following up with vendors and customers on orders, shipments, and questions
- Keeping order records and tracking info up to date
- Teaming up with Supervisors, Production, Sales, and Logistics to share order status and shipping timelines
- Monitoring and replying to customer service emails
- Helping keep the workspace safe, organized, and running smoothly
- Jumping in on other projects and tasks as needed
What you will need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, admin support, order processing, or something similar
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel especially)
- Strong phone skills, clear, professional, and easy to talk to
- Great attention to detail and organizational know-how
- Good time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines without losing your cool
- A positive, adaptable attitude in a fast-changing environment
- Open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve how things run
- A team player who works well with customers, vendors, and coworkers alike
- Comfortable in an open-office setup (no private offices or cubicles here!)
- Energized, not overwhelmed by a fast-paced workplace
