SMALL WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a Part-Time proactive and detail-oriented team player who can efficiently process orders in our Shopify-based system at our small fulfillment office. Previous experience in order fulfillment is essential, along with the ability to assist with social media tasks. A positive attitude and reliability are key attributes we desire. Additionally, proficiency in e-commerce operations would be a considerable advantage.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of fulfillment duties such as pulling customer orders, checking orders, packing/assembling orders, and labeling packages.
- Verify quantity, weight, and accuracy of items to stated identifications
- Check orders for accuracy and completeness, such as matching shipping label with invoice number, name and address.
- Ensure work space and amenities are kept clean
- Learn company’s online system to add or update new inventory
- Process occasional inventory audits
- Respond to customer inquiries via email.
- Work alongside our warehouse supervisor and store team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficient in computer use, with the capability to learn the company's fulfillment and inventory system.
- Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Able to handle fast-paced, complex tasks while also being open to performing standard, routine duties.
- Strong reading, writing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Efficient, dependable, and possesses a positive attitude along with a good work ethic.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours.
- Availability for events, weekends, overtime, and some minor holiday hours is expected.
- Social media savvy, staying updated with current trends.
- Comfortable with conducting social media live sessions and not camera-shy.
- Familiarity with hair care and the ability to perform basic hairstyles.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
