The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps located in Arnold MO, is looking for an individual who would like to apply their experiences, to fill their Service Center Director position. This position is responsible for the fund raising, marketing, management, planning, and implementation of program activities that will benefit the service center. Position supervises service center unit employees, volunteers, and service committee.
This is a part-time 25 hours per week, $20.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experiences.

Essential Functions:
- Facilitate, develop, coordinate, support, supervise and promote all Service Center unit operations.
- Develop and engage current and new Service Center Committee members to assist in developing and meeting financial and program goals.
- Develop strategy, financial development outcomes and mission alignment plans for Service Center as needed, working with the Service Center Committee and Divisional Service Extension Director to do so.
- Coordinate with Divisional Service Extension Director in annual budget preparation and review. Be fiscally responsible for the budget.
- Oversee the Red Kettle Campaign and other fundraising functions.
- Communicate and evaluate the Service Center's compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.
- Provide marketing and fundraising counsel to aid Service Center in increasing their effectiveness and abilities to meet their fundraising goals.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships within the community on behalf of the Salvation Army and its programs in the area.
- Act as a liaison between Divisional Service Extension Director and local TSA Emergency Disaster Services teams when a disaster occurs.
- Attend in-service seminars and conference as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Safe From Harm guidelines.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relationships with unit adviser members, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. This includes, but is not limited to, such actions as resolution of conflicts in a professional manner; courteous treatment of staff, visitors, and clients; respect of others' property and person; and professional and appropriate communication to and about clients, co-workers and supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Related bachelor's degree with four (4) years' experience in related fields, or other combinations of education and experience with at least one year of supervisory experience. Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, like working with others and support The Salvation Army mission. Must become familiar with all Salvation Army functions and programs supported by service extension. Team player, a self-starter, able to handle several projects at the same time and perform well with minimum supervision. Must demonstrate ability to think independently and exercise sound judgment. Knowledge of donor database software is a plus. Requires a valid drivers' license and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Report check.
Physical and Working Conditions:
Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment including using a computer, answering phones, etc. Most work will be indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. However, during a response to a disaster, the work environment will most likely reflect the affected area. Working outdoors will reflect seasonal weather and the initial response could require intensive manual labor operations.
