Summary
We are seeking a PART-TIME BILLING SPECIALIST to join our team at Ankeny Family Counseling. Remote option with right candidate. We are looking for a energetic person to start part time person with desire to scale with more responsibilities if this is the right fit. In this role, you will be essential in managing our financial transactions and ensuring that our revenue cycle operates smoothly. Your contributions will directly support our mission of helping individuals lead fulfilling lives.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, enjoys working with numbers, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely supports one another. As we continue to grow, this role has the potential to expand into additional hours and responsibilities such as intake scheduling, insurance verification, marketing, and other administrative opportunities. Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist in revenue cycle management to optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with therapists and staff regarding billing inquiries and issues.
Requirements
- Good math skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Quick learner and highly motivated
- Excellent communication skills are a must
- Proficient in data entry and accounting software.
- Experience with revenue cycle management is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients regarding financial matters.
