We are hiring an experienced full-time MDS Coordinator for our skilled nursing facility The MDS Coordinator will be responsible for the nursing assessment of residents and documentation review and analysis as needed for completion of resident’s MDS, CAAs and Care Plan in accordance with standards of nursing practices, regulations, and RAI Manual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include the following:

Maintain and update schedules of MDS’s.

Coordinate the work of the Interdisciplinary Team to complete the MDS,

Enter or supervise input of MDS into the computer.

Serve as a member of the care plan meetings.

Supervise and/or lock and transmit MDS data to the State.

Assure that MDS, RAI process and Care plans are completed and transmitted timely.

Assist in audits, denials and ADRs as requested by CES.

Keep and monitor RUG’s worksheet for Medicare residents.

Any other duties as assigned by the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.
REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Nebraska RN License in good standing
