Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communicative Disorders or a related field
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois
- Professional Educator License (PEL) certification is required
- Previous school-based experience is a plus (SLP-CFY and experienced SLPs encouraged to apply)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Provide direct therapy services—both individual and group—according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and track students’ advancement
- Support the school community as an engaged team resource and advocate
