POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Burn Boot Camp Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and challenging workouts in a group setting to members of all fitness levels while fostering a supportive, community-driven environment. In this role, you must have a strong desire to help members reach their health and fitness goals through pushing them outside of their comfort zone and building confidence through showing them what they’re capable of.
SCHEDULE:
- M-F Early AM shift (5:00am-8:30am)
- M-F Mid AM shift (8:00am-1:00pm)
- M-F PM shift (4:00pm-7:45pm)
- 1-2 Saturday mornings/month (7:30am-10:00am)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-energy, results-driven workouts in a motivating group setting (45 minute camps consisting of personal training in a group setting).
- Coach and empower members by providing personalized guidance on fitness, nutrition, and mindset in one-on-one meetings.
- Engage with potential and current members to foster a strong community and drive membership growth.
- Leverage social media to inspire, educate, and connect with members, following direction from the Lead Trainer.
- Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
- Attend weekly and monthly fitness meetings and required educational presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Personal Training certification (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) OR 4-year Exercise Science degree with no gap in experience
- CPR/AED certified
- 1+ year experience in personal training or coaching
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
