This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food service skills while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Hours are 5:15AM-11:00AM with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are replenished and displayed attractively
- Assist guests with their food selections, answer questions about menu options, and accommodate dietary preferences or restrictions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service during busy mornings
- Monitor guest feedback and promptly address any concerns to enhance overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience serving guests in restaurants, catering events, or banquet settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Experience working as a dietary aide or in the food industry is advantageous
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
